I sold out at the con, and I have more printed now.
The prints are $5 each plus shipping – $2 Canada, $3 US and $5 International.
I am also taking You-As-A-Pony commissions!
Here’s the deal, any more details than this are more cash!
$15 each, watercolour, around 4×6 in 5×7 paper. (PLUS SHIPPING) All prices are in Canadian
What you get:
ONE body colour
ONE colour for mane and tail
Relatively uncomplex cutie mark
Eye colour
Your choice of unicorn, pegasus or earth pony.
If you want the mane or tail drawn in a certain way (Straight, curly, long, short) I will do my best.
Let me know if you want a brony, I will draw him with a squarer face and/or without eye lashes.
The pose is up to me. There are no backgrounds.
Addons: Choose your own pose: $5 Complex body colouring (IE multiple colours) – $10 (Like if you wanted something like the X ponies) Prop (like a hat, small furry animal, simple costume element, weapon) – $5 Multiple mane colours (Like, a stripe of a different colour) – $2 Unicorn horn and wings: $2 A second character (Like you riding yourself as a pony, or another basic pony in the same picture) – $10 Background – Varies. This can push the pony into full commission land as far as pricing.
Please comment or send an email to amy at flyingarmadillo dot com and I will ponify you!
I DO have an example of a watercolour pony, but I can’t show it yet as it is a gift. However, watercolour ponies are awesome and not streaky like the marker ones. Note that I cannot guarantee exact colour matching with watercolours.
Below are some I did in Calgary, your ponies for the post con price are guaranteed to be streak free
I took a few photos, but not many. I was so busy! The pics will be posted ASAP and if any of you got a commission from me, whether a pony or otherwise, if you could scan it and send it to me that would be aweeesome!
See you in two years. Can’t make it next year due to other obligations, sadly!
Hey hey hey! My Star Wars Galaxy 6 cards are back, and as an unexpected surprise, I have three blanks.
I am asking $100 Canadian each for the returns or $125 Canadian for a custom blank. Here are the returns! If you want one and are willing to pick it up at Calgary Comic Expo, you save on shipping!
Dude. OK, so I was cleaning out my email and happened upon some old sent mail that I had not deleted for whatever reason. I found the D6 stats for ‘Castaways of Endor’, three short stories (Which I will be polishing and posting sooner or later) (Which I will post so someone can convert them to D20!) some art I’d forgotten I’d done (Including a bunch of Mr Miyagi type judo masters for a judo website, and some art of questionable artistic value) and some art that I had done, but I’d long since lamented their loss, as they were something I lost in a hard drive crash.
Beanies.
Back in 2002 a site I used to frequent had a Beanies game. You would reload pages, and every now and then you would find a beanie. Then you could trade said beanies and such. The game ended up being yanked because it was, understandably, an enormous bandwidth hog. So here they are. beanies. And these kind of represent the historical beginnings of a style I still use today!
Want a beanie? Contact me. Or comment. They’re $7. Keep the details small, I draw them about 2″x2″, flat colour, very fun to do. I have a long weekend and march break. Depending on the volume I get, I’ll let you know how long it’ll take. I’ll be starting them on Friday.
In case you are wondering, characters top to bottom, L-R:
Tarzy, Rody, Oryx, Ianhorous (All from one of the short stories, Fox-shark, Dead Bird Head Guy (x3 – he needs his own web comic), Dragon-Gecko, Chilly (Belongs to a friend of mine), Beacon, Random white tiger, Flying Armadillo, Amara as Ewok, Amara as Sith, Amara as Jedi, Amara as TMBG fan.
Fan art is OK. I hope you have enjoyed this trip down memory lane!
I ran a little free icon drive (Not on the website, sorry, did it on some more targeted social networking things) to figure out how much to charge for icons. The full colour ones were for people who tipped (One of the ones on the full colour sheet is not in colour because I’m waiting for reference), the mostly monochrome ones were the free ones.
Want an Icon? 100×100 or 150×150 icons – $10 for colour, $5 for tones. One character only. If the character or scene you want is complex, the prices will be more.
Now to move on to some bigger pieces of art, I am going to get a very rough Harold book completed for the con, working on that this weekend while I am in an Internetless area!
My helmet is complete and I am able to post it. I’m sending the process to the 501st Project website so they can spill all those details, but here are the pics and some info:
I was hoping to have had these drawn last weekend, but school and work came first. After a minor, yet, major mistake (Wrong stuffed animals with the cats!.. oops, yes, that certainly warrants a free redraw) here they are.
Cuties!
I take these cutie commissions every now and again. If you’d like to be on my cutie list, let me know and I’ll put you on the priority list the next time I open them.
