I keep trying to squeeze in some art/super sale commissions etc into my life. I don’t know if all of you know, but I am in the midst of a career change form Graphic Design to Medical Lab Technology (MT, for you Amurricans). The class I’m in is super intense and I have a part time job to boot. So i have homework, downtime, work and school which hasn’t left me much time for arts.

I do plan on scanning in some class doodles, I have a couple of little commissions on the go and I’ll be doing some sketch cards for the new Star wars Galaxy 5 set (But no base card this time) only because I get the cards on my xmas break

Don’t you guys worry, I’ll be doing some more art for sure and my 501st helmet is coming along nicely.

Just thought I’d give y’all a little life update. Once all is said and done and I get all my work/play time sussed out you will see more in the way of arts.

A quick little note. Due to a large PSC commission and something relating to Doctor Who (I have already drawn a dozen Daleks) I’m on a commission Hiatus.

I have some other awesome news – I’m going back to college in September to study Medical Lab Technology. Some of you may be going ‘What?’ but, believe me, clinical microbiology is actually one of my dream jobs (I’m not kidding either). I have a biology degree.

I will still be doing artwork and opening for commissions now and again, but I am really looking forward to this exciting life change.

Oh, and as soon as I scan some of these personal sketch cards I’ll post them.

I’m planning on uploading some photos and art soon. I had an awesome time and I’d like to thank everyone who came by my table to say hello!

I *do* still have some stuff for sale – postcards, magnets and stickers and prints (oh my!) which I will be posting on my store page within the next couple of weeks.

I hope to see all you Calgary folks again next year!

Hello everybody, I am in Calgary and I’ll be heading to the Stampede grounds to set up soon. I’m sure I’ll have some photos.

If you’re in Calgary, I highly recommend Bumpy’s Cafe for breakfast. That was one awesome breakfast panini!

Before I head off to Calgary, I thought Id share this. I drew some moonkins in my sketchbook and thought they’d make great bookmarks, so I have bookmarks of these guys for Calgary Comic Expo.

If you’re seeing this site with an extremely bland wordpress theme and no art, I am in the process of unbreaking my wordpress installation. I promise, it will be awesome. With Star Wars art, and harold the flying polar bear and cuteness. I had it all working until I neglected to follow the instructions for upgrading my wordpress installation. Go me!

*ETA* Once I finish uploading all the art for thr 5th time tonight I’ll fix anything else that’s broken.

For those of you who are coming to the new web site early (Due to testing or other reasons), hi and welcome!

I’m just about ready to launch the site. My old art will still be available through the old images directory for the time being (But the thumbnail folders will be gone) and I’m going to be keeping some of my old pages up with redirects for google, or, even better, a custom 404 page.

There will probably be some bugs and glitches as the sitr goes live, but this is way way overdue. So hey! Awesome, new site, lovingly crafted in wordpress.

For those who are curious (And are coming in after the site is open) here is what I used:

• A ton of inspiration from CSS Zen Garden
• Three solid years of getting my CSS skills to the level that I can pull this off

If you’re viewing the site in Internet Explorer 6, you’re going to have some bugs. Anything that isn’t easily fixed by me will be ignored as I am phasing out support of IE6 on any personal sites I make. Great alternatives to IE 6 are below:

• Firefox (Will work on your old Windows 2000 machine, too, if that’s what’s keeping you from upgrading!)
• Google Chrome
• Opera
• Internet Explorer 8 (As loathe as I am to praise Microsoft, it’s a very good browser and I give them kudos for it)

If you’re stuck on IE6 because you have some IT people who won’t upgrade, I’m sorry you’re stuck with an ancient insecure browser. Try to petition your IT people to upgrade to one of the browsers above for security reasons or to allow you to use an install of one of the above.
