Once upon a time, one of my friends said 'You have to play this new game, it's really fun!'. I thought 'I'm going to not like this', but alas, i did!

As seems to be the standard for things, I started with a hunter. I was completely new to MMORPGs and I had no clue what I was doing (Remember when 'Shoot' wasn't on the action bar by default? Yeah. I did not know how to shoot my bow until level 2). Hunters are so plentiful because they are easy to solo and easy to level for someone who is new to things.

I was an ubernoob for a long time, and then I had some friends or random hunters give me tips on how to play the class. Eventually I blossomed into one of those hunters people DON'T seethe about, and the purpose of this page is to transform you from NOOB to D00D. Despite what many would like you to believe, not everyone is born with an innate and intricate knowledge of a class.

After having raided up to a couple of bosses into naxx with my hunter, I put her into partial retirement to level my warrior to 60. When TBC came out, Grunkk became my new main and Saku has been turned into an alt. As I level Saku (And I will eventually) I will have some more TBC related hunterings on the site.

Seeing hunters from a Tank's POV and having played a hunter for so long helps me guide newer or inexperienced hunters through instances. In the end the only difference between a good player and a bad player is listening skills. Learn to listen, learn to play and don't be afraid to ask.
